Plants have a great value as the source of medicine. They are most utilized in ayurveda medicine system for treatment various ailments without and/or less adverse effect.Calotropisprocera is shrubby medicinal plant that evenly grows parts India well other countries. Leaves, flower, stem, bark, root and latex Calotropisprocerais used traditionally bitter, laxative, anthelmintic, appetizer, stomachic, anti-sialagogue strengthening. Scientist explored Calotropisprocera different pharmacological activities like antidiarrhoeal, hepatoprotective,schizonticidal, wound healing jaundice. The up to chemical level chemicals isolated from plants such calotropagenin, lupeol, α-amyrin, β-sitosterol, quercetin rutin etc. This review was attempted explore hepatoprotective potential extracts moiety obtained Calotropisprocera.Â
